WHAT IS BEAUTIFUL GATE LESOTHO AFRICA

Beautiful Gate Child Care Centre, Lesotho (Le-soo-too) typically serves 50-60 children from zero to five years of age, e.g. orphaned, abandoned, neglected, destitute, abused, HIV/AIDS affected and other vulnerable children. $2,000 per month will provide for the care needs of ten children, including a house-mother and caregivers from within the local community, a nurse, daily supplies (diapers, food, clothing), medical supplies, day care programs and pre-school programs, as well as regular maintenance and administrative salaries. With the help of the Lesotho Department of Social Welfare many children have been adopted internationally and locally into forever families desiring to shower them with love and assistance. Beautiful Gate has room to expand and serve more children but they need more help. They need YOUR help.

AN ADOPTION STORY

A local family who adopted a brother and sister from Beautiful Gate Child Care Centre in Lesotho, Africa have graciously provided a video to help us advertise our 2013 Run/Walk for Orphans. Please remember that the date for our 2014 event is August 16th and it will be held at Tynehead Regional Park, Surrey. There are a number of children from Lesotho who have been adopted in the Lower Mainland.
